he Williamson offers up large native rainbow trout and is considered one of the best trophy trout rivers in the West. Our trips give us the opportunity of both float and wade fishing. We have a variety of techniques, using dry flies, streamers and nymphs to bring these monsters to the net! While the predominate trout species is rainbow, we do see some brown trout action. Fishing is good through the entire season and peak hatches (have you ever seen a Hex hatch?!) can certainly increase the excitement.

he Wood is a spring fed meandering meadow stream. looping thru the Upper Klamath Basin's fertile ranches and leaving steep cut banks those brown trout just love. Hopper fishing can be excellent and, in the fall, the migratory Redband Trout move in from the lake. We will take advantage of the dry fly fishing whenever the opporutnity presents. Streamer fishing is very effective for these big fish. It will be our pleasure to teach you the finer points of streamer fishing on this river.
